Small Business Grants to Apply to in November 2025
At the Stanley-Casey House, we’re passionate about helping small businesses and community builders find the tools and funding they need to thrive. Each month, we spotlight grant and loan programs that align with our mission of strengthening rural entrepreneurship, supporting innovation, and fueling local growth.
Whether you’re an established business ready to scale or a community organization working to expand opportunity in your region, these November programs offer valuable support — from financial backing to expert guidance.
Grant Opportunities Available:
USDA Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Programs
The USDA Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Program offers funding to strengthen rural economies through projects that create jobs and foster local business development. Administered by the USDA’s Rural Business Cooperative Service, the program provides up to $300,000 in grants and $1 million in loans for eligible applicants. To qualify, organizations must be current or former Rural Utilities Service (RUS) borrowers, or nonprofit utilities that qualify for RUS loans. Projects must serve rural areas or towns with fewer than 50,000 residents, though in persistent-poverty counties, county seats with populations up to 55,000 are eligible. Applications are open until December 31, 2025, giving communities ample time to plan strategic initiatives that can have a lasting local impact. This opportunity is ideal for utilities and nonprofits investing in rural infrastructure and business growth.
FedEx® Entrepreneur Fund and Boost Camp Program
Small business owners looking for both funding and mentorship should explore the FedEx Entrepreneur Fund and Boost Camp Program, presented in partnership with Hello Alice. This initiative awards $10,000 grants to for-profit U.S. businesses that generated less than $1 million in revenue in 2023 and have 25 or fewer employees. Beyond the funding, recipients gain access to a Boost Camp — an educational and networking experience designed to help entrepreneurs refine their strategy and scale sustainably. The application deadline is November 21, 2025, and the program is especially well-suited for founders seeking practical guidance, growth tools, and community support.
Entrepreneurs based in Appalachian Kentucky should take note of Accelerate 606, a program that combines grant funding with business training and mentorship. Offering up to $10,000 in support, Accelerate 606 is open to businesses that have been operating for at least one year, have established revenue, and are ready to grow or expand. Participants must also commit to attending all sessions and the final showcase event. This program focuses on small businesses located in the 606 area code and surrounding Appalachian counties, empowering local founders to scale their impact through connection and collaboration. Applications are open until November 21, 2025, and the experience provides not only financial assistance but also the tools and network needed for long-term success.
Access to funding can make all the difference for small businesses — especially in rural communities where every new idea helps shape the local economy. These opportunities are a reminder that support is out there for those who take the time to apply and plan ahead.
